Just a quick note to say thank you! Re: my son Alex.
At some point in the season, hockey became fun for him again… you and your team did so well what you always do… you gave him confidence to try.You talked about “leadership” with Alex – which clearly built his confidence. He will be back in August (already registered).

I’m writing this note to express our gratitude. Aydan so far has participated in 3 of your programs since September 2013. In the short 6 months, he started from a struggling skater on the ice to one of the top players on his team.
I feel the programs you run are well designed, systematic and holistic as each one of them captures the important skills that kids of each stage need to acquire. I’m also impressed by the teachers on ice, your team and how committed they are to delivering consistent programs.
In this case, hockey skills are nurtured, honed and imparted effectively to the kids by the dedicated teachers who are true professionals and strive at delivering their best to the young students. This sense of character building of these young players, the attention to detail, drive, persistence, giving your best, after all are the crucial qualities that they need to learn and know to be successful not only in sports but also in the realms of their lives.
Bravo to a very good job and a loud THANK YOU for providing such a fantastic platform for all of us in the community.

3 years ago when I was looking to introduce my son to hockey I was hearing a lot of very discouraging things about youth hockey. “All Star” teams were being chosen as early as 7 years old, kids were playing hockey all year round and winning seemed to be the only thing that mattered. I was having second thoughts until I heard about your program.
Mike you run a great program! What makes your program special is that you focus on fun and skill development and not winning. You and your coaches create innovative drills that teach hockey skills in a fun and enthusiastic environment and the high coach to player ratio ensures each player gets specialized instruction. My son just loves the 3 on 3 scrimmages because he gets more opportunities to handle the puck. I wish your program was around when I was a kid.

Thank you for your guidance and support of the young boys and girls that play with the World “3 on 3“Hockey program. Our son Anthony, was 4 years old when he started your program and was quite excited to play hockey the first time. When he arrived to the rink the first day, boy was he nervous, scared and intimidated by the other boys and girls who could actually skate quite well. I saw little tears coming up and I thought, “oh no, this could be a tough day.” Well with the strong support and encouragement of your energetic coaches, he quickly settled in and completely enjoyed the session. Over the next few weeks, he quickly changed from a nervous, shy little hockey player, to a confident young boy. Both my wife and I would comment about the enjoyment and excitement that Anthony had each day that he had at World “3 on 3” Hockey. He would get dressed by himself 2 hours before the skate and eat dinner in his hockey equipment. This change from a young who at first was scared and teary eyed was the result of having excellent coaching in a supportive environment where no one child felt alone on the big sheet of ice! Thanks Mike for your excellent selection of quality coaches!

My boys have been involved in your program for many years and keep want to go back for more!
Your approach to hockey development for young children and the middle years alike, is based on sound practices. Players in your programs enjoy age & skill appropriate challenges, skill development and have fun. Your staff is always excellent in their ability to encourage players to be the best they can be and help to build confidence in themselves. The format for the program really encourages all players in the game and more programs should take a page from your book. Congratulations!

As a professional coach who has worked and attended numerous camps, World “3 on 3” Hockey provides an excellent learning environment for young players. In particular, the goalie instruction my son received was first rate. Coach Sonny Mignacca, the Head Goalie Coach, provided not only the technical skills needed to be an effective goalie, he challenged my son in a fun and supportive manner. The confidence he gained from this camp is an integral part of his success as a goalie. I highly recommend the program for all goalies looking to improve their level of play.

Dear World “3 on 3” Hockey,
I would like to commend Mike and his group on an excellent program they have put together for kids to participate in. My son Mackenzie, started playing hockey at age 9 with World “3 on 3” Hockey. Coach Mike assured us that he wasn’t too old to start playing hockey in their program. With the help of Mike and his awesome coaches, my son Mac has turned into a pretty good player at the age of 10. I would highly encourage parents and grandparents to use World “3 on 3” Hockey as a starting point for their hockey players and to continue on as we will in the upcoming years. No one does it better in the City of Winnipeg! Thanks again.

Der World “3 on 3” Hockey,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your time and effort spent teaching my 3 children the game of hockey. They all love your programs and have all improved tremendously due to your insightful and creative approach. My eldest has enjoyed the past 3 years of World “3 on 3” Hockey and was again successful in making the highest level team in his area because of the skills, confidence and understanding of the game he acquired from your program. He loves the amount of time with the puck and room to skate that he can’t get from the traditional 5 on 5 hockey. In his words, “it rocks”.
My daughter, a goalie, loves the low goalie/coach ratio she receives from the Head Goalie Coach Sonny Mignacca and the other goalie coaches during her pre-try out preparation camps each summer. She’s hoping to repeat again as the only goalie and only girl on her boys “A1” City Championship team. My youngest son who is 5, looks forward to his Learn To Play Hockey class each week. There’s an abundance of apparatus and training tools on the ice like lighter pucks, balloons, soccer balls, bean bags…. to keep the young players stimulated and moving. The on-ice picture is changed quickly which allows the players to be stay focussed and engaged in activity while having fun!
Keep up the great work!
Our children, whom are both goalies, have benefitted immensely from the quality instruction offered at the World “3 on 3” Hockey program. Mike Loustel and his staff offer a hockey program that is well organized and is a pleasure to be involved with. The Head Goalie Coach, Sonny Mignacca, is extremely knowledgeable and offers a well thought out plan that progresses over the course of training. His knowledge of the goalie position and excellent instructional techniques, make him a tremendous asset to the program. Our children have attended other camps, but World “3 on 3”Hockey rates #1 with us.

Patrique(goalie) made 13”AAA” this year, so he’s very happy. We were surprised at how quickly my son was able to develop. In 3 years, he went from “A2” to “AA” and now to “AAA”. I believe this reflects the quality of instruction he received from your goalie coaches and Coach Sonny. He really enjoyed the teaching methods offered by World “3 on 3” Hockey. Thanks for all of your help and say Hi to Sonny for us.

We would like to thank you for your outstanding presentation and delivery of your hockey programs. It is most evident that your organization is most knowledgeable of the skills and techniques goalies and players must achieve to optimize their abilities. Sonny’s attention to detail has greatly improved Josh’s ability as a goalie. The strong interpersonal skills you, Sonny and your instructors demonstrate bring out a positive experience for all. Over the years Josh has attended many of your programs. He truly enjoys participating in every session and has found that being a goalie is extremely rewarding. Mike, your organization has facilitated the rapid advancement of Josh’s abilities in a most pleasant environment.
Thank you for your effort!

I really look forward to each session with you and Coach Sonny (Head Goalie Coach). You know what you teach as you have played the game at a high level. You have shown me the most up to date techniques of goaltending in a friendly and professional way always encouraging me to repeat my drills until they are done correctly. I like that you only have a few goalies with each instructor. You challenge me by matching my skills to older players in both the goalie camps as well as the “3 on 3” games. Thank you for all of your help in making me a better goalie.
