Mike Loustel

For 28 years, Mike Loustel has been the Director of Hockey Operations for both “World ‘3 on 3’ Hockey Federation” and “Coach Hockey Schools”.
Immersing himself in the sport of hockey since the age of 18 months, Mike followed his family’s tradition, and also followed in the footsteps of his older brother Ron (former goalie of the Winnipeg Jets and Brandon Wheat Kings) and his cousin Lorne Henning (4 time Stanley Cup Winner – New York Islanders & Assistant GM/VP of Player Personnel Vancouver Canucks) by breathing, loving and playing the sport.
Mike’s training and perseverance were rewarded with his playing career that extended from 4 years of “AAA” with the Hounds at Athol Murray College of Notre Dame to Junior with the Winnipeg South Blues eventually to College Hockey for the University of Manitoba Bisons.
Proud Coach of 7 City Championship Teams, 6 Provincial Champions and 1 National Championship Team at the “AA” and “AAA” levels.
Mike trained under former Team Canada members Terry O’Malley and Barry MacKenzie (Director of Player Personnel – Minnesota Wild), All-Time M.J.H.L wins leader Doug Stokes and Wayne Fleming (former assistant coach Tampa Bay Lightning and the Canadian Men’s Olympic Team). Coach Mike has coached over 140 players that have been drafted by the N.H.L including Mike LeClerc (Anaheim Ducks), Tyler Arnason (Colorado Avalanche), Dustin Boyd ( Calgary Flames) and Cody Eakin (Dallas Stars).
Mike is now eager to share his knowledge of hockey with your children, hockey enthusiasts and the stars of tomorrow.

Sonny Sr. Mignacca – Director of Goaltending

Sonny has been our Head Goalie Coach for the past 8 seasons. He played 4 years of junior for the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League. In his final year of junior, he was named the league’s top goaltender as well as the MVP. He was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks and invited to the Team Canada World Junior Tryouts. Sonny played 7 years of pro hockey in the A.H.L with the Syracuse Crunch, Utah Grizzlies and in the Super League in England. He is the current goalie coach of the Winnipeg Junior “A” South Blues and the MAHA’s under 16 Program of Excellence.


Addison “Addi” Miles

Addi started at World 3 on 3 Hockey at the age of 4. She played college hockey for 5 seasons with the University of Manitoba Bison Women’s Team where she was a 5 time all-star and a 4 year captain. In 2011, she won a Gold Medal as a member of Team Canada. In 2012, Addison was the University of Manitoba Female Athlete of the Year. She is currently the Head Coach of the Vincent Massey Female High School Hockey Team and was named Coach of the Year (2014) for all female high school hockey in Winnipeg.


Eric Lemoine

Eric started at World 3 on 3 Hockey at age 5. He has been one of our lead instructors since 2007. He played “AAA” hockey for Winnipeg Warriors. He’s currently pursuing a career as a commercial airline pilot.


Melissa Smith

Coach “Mel” has been an instructor at World 3 on 3 Hockey since 2007. She specializes with our students ages 3-6 especially in our Learn To Play Hockey program. She played high school hockey in Hamiota. Melissa plays senior women’s hockey for the Manitoba Prairie Fire where she has been captain for the past 5 seasons. She is currently enrolled at the University of Manitoba where she is finishing up her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.


Darrel Kilburn

Darrel started at World 3 on 3 Hockey at age 5. He played his minor hockey for the Assiniboine Park “AA” Rangers winning 4 City Championships. He was captain of the Kelvin High School Hockey Team in grade 12 and is currently playing junior hockey for the Fort Garry Twins. He’s currently pursuing a Degree in Business at the University of Manitoba.


Katrina Clarke

Coach “Kat” has been a member of our staff for the past 5 years. She played her minor hockey in Hamiota. She’s currently a member of the Manitoba Prairie Fire in the Senior Women’s League. Katrina has played collegiate soccer the past 2 seasons for Red River College where she’s been the Team Captain. She’s currently finishing up her Degree in Engineering.


Dave Benediktson

Coach “Benny” played his minor hockey with the Winnipeg South “AAA” Monarchs winning the inaugural Purolator Cup in Medicine Hat as a Bantam. Dave played junior hockey with the Charleswood Hawks. He has coached the Assiniboine Park “AA” Rangers (all ages) for 8 years. Last season, he was the Head Coach for the Oak Park Raiders Female High School hockey team. Dave is also a high performance soccer coach leading many of our provincial teams in National Championships.


Jenna Mclntosh

Coach “Mac” has been a member of our staff for the past 8 seasons. She played her minor hockey with the Fort Garry “AA” Twins and high school hockey with the St. Norbert Celtics. Jenna played senior women’s hockey for the Western Predators and in 2007 won the Western Canadian Championship. Last season, she coached the Fort Garry Female “AA” Pee Wee Twins to a City Championship. She recently finished up her Degree in Education and is currently working as a Phys. Ed teacher in Winnipeg.
